PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) -- When you think of the worst cities to drive in, usually Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC come to mind with their horrific traffic and gridlock.

Even though the Schuylkill Expressway, I-95, and the Roosevelt Boulevard pose daily challenges for commuters, Philadelphia does have less congestion than those cities. However, a new WalletHub study puts the City of Brotherly Love dead last for the overall driving experience.

The study, released on Monday, looked at the 100 largest cities in the United States and was based on 30 metrics of "driver-friendliness." Some of the measured areas include average gas prices, annual hours stuck in traffic, average maintenance costs, and the likelihood of car accidents.
