LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Las Vegas Metro Police arrested a woman accused of impersonating a nurse and handing out prescriptions for minors last week.

According to a release from LVMPD, investigators were notified by CCSD of discrepancies with medical orders authorizing nurses and students to administer insulin at school. An investigation determined that a woman identified as 44-year-old Crystal Scott would send these orders, claiming to be on behalf of doctors, but ultimately without their knowledge.

Investigators also determined that Scott was not a registered nurse and did not hold any medical licenses. They say she would use nursing license numbers of other individuals to fill lab orders under a similarly unlicensed medical facility named “Glucose N Glow”.

Scott was arrested and booked
