A man was found shot at a Cleveland Avenue gas station, but it ultimately led to his arrest

ATLANTA — A man was found shot early Tuesday morning at a Cleveland Avenue gas station, but it ultimately led to his arrest.

According to the Atlanta Police Department , the shooting victim was located at the Mobil station at 121 Cleveland Avenue a little after 7:30 a.m. Officers described him as alert, conscious and breathing and he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The officers then went back to a house where the shooting occurred and "located a female suspect the home." They determined the man and woman "were involved in a domestic dispute that escalated to the shooting."

The woman was arrested. Meanwhile, APD determined the victim also had an active warrant -- and he was then placed into custody at Grady Detention.
