BEAVERTON Ore. (KPTV) - Police are searching for the suspect in a hit-and-run over the weekend that killed a 67-year-old pedestrian.
According to the Beaverton Police Department, about 8:45 p.m. Friday night, a car traveling south on Scholls Ferry Road near Hall Boulevard struck a pedestrian before driving away from the scene.
The victim, identified by police as 67-year-old Emmanuel Del Cid of Beaverton, died at the scene.
Police say the suspect is a Latino man in his mid-30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build. They say he was wearing a white hoodie at the time of the crash.
The car involved in the crash is described as a 2013-2015 white Audi A4 or SR, with damage to the front of the car.
