AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Two people are dead after separate Aiken County crashes, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
On Tuesday, around 1 p.m., the coroner’s office responded to Wellstar MCG to investigate the death of a man after a two-vehicle accident.
Officials say the accident happened around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday on Charleston Highway at Oak Street in Windsor.
The male driver was traveling west on Charleston Highway when the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound logging truck, according to officials.
The agency says Aiken County EMS transported the driver to Wellstar MCG, where he died at 12:26 p.m.
