After a glorious end to the season for the Broncos and NRL fans who witnessed one of the great grand finals, it's time to reflect on the year that was.
These are my own personal awards, and they're not all prizes that you would want to win.

Player of the year: The Dally M judges got it right this year - in a hot and cold Roosters team, James Tedesco was superb. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Roosters, but they made the finals thanks to Teddy's brilliance.
Player of the finals: You just can't go past Reece Walsh - he had plenty of highs and lows during the year but his display in the grand final for the Broncos will go down in folklore. Absolutely
