KALB-TVALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Guesthouse International Inn and Suites, located on North MacArthur Drive in Alexandria, has been subject to multiple fires in the past few years.
As it currently stands on Oct. 7, the front of the hotel has collapsed and is now too dangerous for anyone to go inside, leaving many to wonder what will happen to the building itself.
Tony Brown hosts his own radio show, which would air at a section of the Guesthouse Inn. Now, Brown’s radio show plays in a new studio, but he said the property has seen at least eight fires in the past five years.
“We have called the police no less than 30 to 40 times in the course that we’ve been there to report a break-in in the back or an arson,” he said.
