BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office arrested seven members of a local music label after a drug bust on Tuesday.

According to the sheriff's office, the EBRSO Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit investigated an alleged drug operation ring in the Belaire neighborhood. During the investigation, agents learned that it involved members of the "Spider Nation" rap label. Deputies reportedly bought fentanyl and methamphetamine from several members of the group. The suspects used seven locations in Baton Rouge and one location in Livingston Parish.

The sheriff's office conducted search warrants of the following locations: • 12400 block of Robbie Avenue • 12400 block of Warfield Avenue • 10200 block of Airline Highway • 4500 block of E. Essen Height
