Police said in an Oct. 7 statement that the incident occurred at 9:50 p.m. on July 29. Officers were told a vehicle speeding eastbound on Hospital Street collided with a vehicle stopped at the intersection with Franklin Avenue. Article content

The vehicle sped away by cutting across the meridian, heading westbound on Hospital Street and exiting onto Crescent Heights. Three people were inside the stopped vehicle but no injuries were reported.
