A boy was left with potentially life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a tram in a horror collision in south Manchester on Tuesday (October 7).
A huge emergency response, including an air ambulance, was called to the incident at the Crossacres Metrolink stop on Brownley Road in Wythenshawe shortly after 3.30pm.
It followed reports of a tram striking a boy, whose age has not yet been confirmed. It's understood he was later rescued from underneath the tram and rushed to hospital from the scene with serious, life-changing injuries that police said may also be life-threatening.
