JOY, Ill. ( KWQC /Gray News) – A school superintendent in Illinois was arrested after he allegedly shared students’ vaccine records.
Prosecutors say 53-year-old Timothy Farquer, the superintendent of Mercer County School District, accessed student vaccine records, put them into a database and shared them, violating those students’ privacy.
Two other school employees in the technology department are also facing charges. Police allege Amberly Norton, 41, and Andrea Long, 41, began accessing vaccine data in 2019.
