WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A Wichita nonprofit that provides medical care to people living on the streets says it may soon have to shut down due to funding cuts and rising costs.

The ICT Street Team — a volunteer-run group made up of nurse practitioners, doctors, registered nurses and medical students — provides free primary care to unhoused individuals across the city. Each week, the team visits encampments and shelters to deliver medication, perform lab work, and offer health checks to those who might not otherwise see a doctor.
