INDIANAPOLIS — Police say three people were wounded Tuesday in a near-east side shooting.
An IMPD spokesperson said it happened around 6:40 p.m. in the 4400 block of East 10th Street. Police cars were seen on the parking lot for a CVS Pharmacy, and crime scene tape was posted.
Officers investigating a report of gunfire in the area found two people with apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were said the be in "stable" condition, police said.
Police believe a person who reported to Community Hospital East a few minutes later, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound, was likely injured in the 10th Street incident but they continue to investigate.
