The Seattle rain traveled with the Mariners over to Detroit as they prepare to face the Tigers in Game 3 of the American League Divisional Series (ALDS) on Tuesday afternoon.

At 12:17 p.m., the Detroit Tigers announced that Game 3 of the ALDS will be delayed due to inclement weather in the area. The team did not provide an updated timeline for the first pitch.

Rain showers and a possibility of a thunderstorm were expected to loom over the Detroit Tigers’ Comerica Park ahead of the previously scheduled start time at 1:08 p.m., according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Unlike Seattle’s T-Mobile Park, the Tigers’ field does not have a roof to fend off the rain, and eager Mariner fans preparing to watch the game will now have to endure a lengthy weather delay ahead of game time.
