GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - With their season openers just weeks away, the UW-Green Bay women’s and men’s basketball teams welcomed the media to preview their outlooks for the 2025-26 campaign.

The programs are in very different spots. The women’s team is fresh off of their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance, while the men’s team at one point held the longest losing streak in the nation at 21 games en route to a 4-28 season.

As for the women’s team, they enter this season in a very different spot than they did last year. A year ago, Kayla Karius was the new face in the program as she took over for legendary head coach Kevin Borseth.
