LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Palisades Charter High School football players are proving their grit on the gridiron. They refused to give up after losing their home field in the Palisades Fire .

They've since received a morale boost from the Los Angeles Rams , who invited the school's JV and varsity football teams to practice on the field and get a tour of the Rams locker room.

"This is really a once in a lifetime experience. I'm super grateful to the people at SoFi, the Rams people. I can see some guys that haven't smiled in a long time, ear-to-ear smiling today," said Jack Thomas, quarterback with the Palisades Charter High School football team.
