A man died Wednesday morning after a stabbing attack in east Las Vegas, police said.

The stabbing happened about 6:30 a.m. in the 4700 block of Happy Valley Avenue, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

In a statement, police said they received a report of a “male stabbed in the 4700 block of Happy Valley Avenue. Arriving officers located a male suffering from an apparent stab wound outside a travel trailer. Officers immediately rendered aid until medical personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.”
