MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Students are reacting to a shocking sight Tuesday at Kipp Memphis Collegiate High School: A car crashed into the school’s front entrance during a state trooper chase.

“I was just inside, and it was so close.”

Andrea Green, a student at Kipp Memphis, says she was inside the foyer right at the front of the school when, “As you look at the window, you see just a car speed in, and a state truck just followed with some police cars following behind, and you just hear the crash.”

It was unlike anything she’d ever seen, and left her and many of her fellow students in shock.

“I mean, I was scared, scared for my life. I just got into school, I saw the car swerve,” student Quarderrion Luckett told Action News 5.
