A public health alert has been issued for two kinds of Hello Fresh ready-to-eat meals containing spinach that could be contaminated with Listeria.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), this public health alert has been issued for 10.1 oz. containers of Hello Fresh cheesy pulled pork pepper pasta, as well as Hello Fresh unstuffed peppers with ground turkey.

The alert was issued after FreshRealm notified FSIS that the spinach used in these products tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected products have establishment numbers Est. 47718, Est. 2937 and P-47718, and lot codes, 49107, 48840, 50069, 50073 or 50698.
