WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - A West Hartford man has been arrested after numerous complaints of damage to pro-Israel yard signs.

Police say between Oct. 30 to Oct. 31, damage to signs was reported in the area of Mohegan Drive, Mohawk Drive, Albany Avenue and Norwood Road.

The majority of complaints told police the signs were removed from yards, cut in half and discarded on the lawns.

40-year-old Michael Guzman was identified by police as a suspect tied to one of these vandalism incidents.

He was arrested and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and criminal trespass in the third degree.

Guzman was held on a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 15.
