RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The man accused of killing a Chesterfield resident in Scott’s Addition last year is scheduled to appear in court later this month for a plea hearing.

Court records show Nico Rivera is scheduled for a plea hearing on Oct. 20. That’s the same day his five-day trial was set to begin.

Rivera is accused of throwing a punch during a fight that knocked out 27-year-old Jacob Baldwin, who later died from his injuries.
