Fall colors are slowly beginning to show across northern Arkansas this week, mainly in the higher terrain of the Ozarks and Boston Mountains. Most of central and southern Arkansas remain in the “little to no color” phase, which is right on schedule for early October. Typically, the Ozarks see color build through mid-October with peaks in late October, while central and southern parts of the state follow in early to mid-November.
