PONTIAC — One of the longest-tenured hoops head coaches in Oakland County and beyond picked up another defining honor on Sunday afternoon.
Gary Fralick, who has been at the helm of Troy High’s boys basketball program for over three decades, was formally inducted alongside Rochester Christian University’s Klint Pleasant as part of the Basketball Coaches of Michigan’s Class of 2025 Hall of Fame.
Fralick, alongside Rochester Adams’ Fran Scislowicz, was also part of this year’s Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame class.
“You stay around long enough and good thing will happen,” Fralick joked following the banquet.
