The Patriots added running back Jashaun Corbin to their practice squad and released offensive lineman Royce Newman.

After Monday’s news that Antonio Gibson was out for the season with a knee injury, the Patriots only have two running backs — Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson —on their active roster. They’re likely to either add another one to their active roster or upgrade one from the practice squad before Sunday’s game at New Orleans.
