TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Changes could be coming to Tulare in a few years.
The City manager and local leaders have been working on this Entertainment District Proposal.
It would include a large commercial area.
With dining, shopping, hotels and entertainment on approximately 100 acres located off of Highway 99, along LaSpina, and south of Paige Avenue.
"That project could include a variety of indoor recreation activities and we are also talking about a sports park connected to it," says Marc Mondell, City Manager of Tulare.
The cost would be millions of dollars.
The goal is to use TOT, or visitor tax dollars to make the project happen.
Mondell says he has been involved in similar projects before that were successful.
