The trustees representing the holdings of a late philanthropist and USC life trustee have reached a tentative settlement in the giver’s longrunning lawsuit against her former financial advisers, in which she alleged they made “big gambles” with millions of dollars of her assets to promote their own financial gain.
Glorya Kaufman brought the complaint in May 2020 in Los Angeles Superior Court against Michael Rosenfeld, CPA Harvey Bookstein and Armanino LLP, of which Bookstein was once a partner. Kaufman died Aug. 5 at age 90 and the GK Liberte Trust assumed duties as the plaintiff.
