AMES — Iowa State lost the top-ranked high school recruit of its 2026 recruiting class.

Milan Parris, a four-star receiver and the top-ranked player in ISU's 2026 class, announced Tuesday he has reopened his recruitment.

Parris, from Stow, Ohio received an offer from Oregon seven days ago and also has offers from Miami, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Auburn among others.

ISU's 2026 high school recruiting class now ranks No. 55 nationally and No. 11 in the Big 12, per 247 Sports. The Cyclones lost Omaha, Nebraska quarterback Jett Thomalla to Alabama. Thomalla was a four-star recruit and flipped his commitment in June.
