A new documentary about Ozzy Osbourne provides an intimate look at the heavy metal legend’s final years.

It reveals his struggles with debilitating pain and depression following a 2019 neck surgery that caused significant nerve damage, People reports.

“ Ozzy: No Escape from Now ,” which is now available to stream on Paramount+, was filmed from 2021 to 2025 and captures candid moments with the Prince of Darkness as he dealt with the aftermath of medical complications that severely impacted his quality of life, the report said.

According to the outlet, the documentary reveals that in 2021, his condition worsened when the family learned his surgeon had “caused even more damage” by using unnecessary metal plates, according to his wife Sharon Osbourne.
