About 200 students walked out of school Tuesday morning to a protest in Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park in support of the Palestinian people on the second anniversary of the start of the Israel-Hamas war. They carried signs, banners and Palestinian flags as they marched west from the park, eventually turning to march across Denny Way.

The students blocked traffic on the Denny bridge over the I-5 freeway, chanting: “Free, free Palestine!”
