The University of Nevada, Reno will unveil its new Main Station Farm Science Center at a private event this week, highlighting a major investment in agricultural education and meat industry support.
The new research and classroom facility is located on the University’s Main Station Farm, and is part of the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources . The farm has long served as a hub for hands-on learning, research, and outreach as part of the College’s Experiment Station unit .
Alongside the new science center, recent upgrades to the farm’s feedlot and the Wolf Pack Meats facility will provide expanded training opportunities for students and help advance Nevada’s food production and meat processing industries.
