CHARLOTTE, NC — An infamous Uptown Charlotte nightclub no longer has it’s liquor license. this comes after 3 people were shot and killed at or near Brooklyn Lounge in the past few months..

Gabriel Cosey was one of the victims. His mom, Nekisha Cosey, told WCCB the NC Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission called her on Tuesday to personally tell her Brooklyn Lounge’s owner, Donovan McGeachy, pulled his own liquor license.

While Cosey said she’s happy about the license being pulled, she’s still worried McGeachy will reapply for a license at a different location.
