Bloomington Central Catholic football is flying up the 3A state rankings, thanks to two dynamic stars who will soon be playing on Saturdays

( 25News Now ) - Bloomington Central Catholic’s football program has had a long and storied tradition of success over the years, and this year is no different as the Saints have rolled their way to a 6-0 start, and ranked #4 in Class 3A.

A rarity for most small-school programs, the Saints have multiple Division One prospects in senior ATH Valshun Powe, who’s already committed to hometown Illinois State, and junior QB/LB Matthew Brady, who sports offers from ISU/Western Illinois/Toledo/Miami of Ohio.

With those two high-level stars and a host of other talented contributors, the Saints are riding high and ready to make a deep run in the state playoffs once again.
