North Kingstown girls volleyball’s win streak ended at the hands of East Providence on Oct. 6. The Townies settled in after the first set and found their serves and rallied to hand the Skippers their first loss since September 2023.

The 42 straight wins also includes back-to-back state championships, but there might be a new front-runner for state favorite after East Providence’s 3-1 (17-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-20) victory.
