A friendly match involving ex-teammates saw tempers flare during a three-day red-ball match between Maharashtra and Mumbai in Pune on Tuesday. India cricketer Prithvi Shaw raised his bat at Musheer Khan and held his collar during a heated altercation that forced several players and an on-field umpire to intervene and separate the two.

Well, Shaw was on his way back to the dressing room at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Gahunje following a sparkling century – 181 off 220 balls made with the help of 21 fours and three sixes. This was the first time that Shaw came face-to-face against his former domestic team, Mumbai, after quitting for Maharashtra earlier this year.
