CANYON, Texas (KFDA) – The #14 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs extended their winning streak to four matches on Wednesday night after defeating the Midwestern State Mustangs in four sets.
Bromli Watson had a career night, recording a season-high 54 kills and becoming the first Lady Buff to cross the 50+ assists threshold since 2019.
Taytum Stow got the job done on both sides of the net yet again, finishing with a match-highs 16 kills, six blocks.
Four Lady Buffs, including Stow, finished the match with 11+ kills: Kaycee Cavanaugh (14), Currie Marusak (13) and Emma Becker (11).
It was a double-double night for Cavanaugh and Marusak, who also got it done defensively with 15 & 12 digs respectively.
#14 Lady Buffs advance to 12-4 on the season, 4-1 against Lone Star Conference opponents.
