A San Diego-based vape business has resolved a lawsuit from the city that alleged it was selling flavored tobacco products in violation of state and local bans on such sales, it was announced Tuesday.

Vapor Authority has agreed to pay a $100,000 penalty and comply with a three-year injunction prohibiting flavored tobacco product sales.

The San Diego City Attorney’s Office alleged the business was selling flavored tobacco products after bans from California and the city of San Diego went into effect. The settlement was reached with no admission of liability by Vapor Authority.

“E-cigarette use among youth remains a serious public health and safety concern,” San Diego City Attorney Heather Ferbert said in a statement.
