NEW YORK – The Yankees have snatched away momentum in the American League Division Series in improbable fashion.

By the middle of the third inning in a must-win Game 3 on Tuesday night, the Yankees were trailing by five runs and Carlos Rodon had exited after seven outs.

The Yankees had their backs up against the wall, but that seems to be where they operate best.

Behind a mammoth three-run blast by Aaron Judge and go-ahead solo shot by Jazz Chisholm Jr., the Yankees rattled off eight unanswered runs to grab a 9-6 win over the Blue Jays in front of a sold-out crowd of 47,399 at Yankee Stadium.

The two sides will now meet again in Game 4 at 7:08 p.m. on Wednesday night in the Bronx.
