FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In the last two games, the Bulldog defense has come away with eight takeaways, with one of those picks against Nevada being snagged by nickelback Simeon Harris.
Harris' journey out of high school led him to play for Deion Sanders at Colorado, then suit up for Utah State. But the first Vallejo native's first offer was to Fresno State.
His decision to transfer to the Valley made sense in more ways than one.
"Trying to do what's best for the team, I'm willing to do whatever for the team, special teams or defense," Harris said. "If coach needs me to play offense, I'll go play some offense. We're all family here, we really got that family culture."
Family may have been what sealed the deal when he was in the transfer portal.
