Jonathan Rose Cos., a New York-headquartered real estate investor with a Denver office, closed late last month on the purchase of San Juan del Centro Apartments, an affordable-housing rental community at 3100 34th St. in Boulder.

CHC San Juan Del Centro Preservation LP, an entity registered with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office to the New York address of real estate investor and developer Related Cos., sold the 150-unit apartment complex built in the early 1970s for $56 million, Boulder County real estate records show.

Related, records indicate, bought the apartment complex for $7 million in 2006.
