HOUSTON – Five games into the NFL season, the Texans are improving after a rough start.

They’re on a two-game winning streak and are 2-3 overall after losing the opening three games.

A blowout win over the Baltimore Ravens, a strong finish against the Tennessee Titans, the top-ranked scoring defense in the league and an improving offense led by C.J. Stroud and Nick Caley has Texans general manager Nick Caserio in an upbeat mood.

“In a decent spot,” Caserio said heading into the open week. “Recalibrate here this week. Lot of football in front of, played decent the last couple of weeks.

“Played good football. Like our team. I like where we’re headed. See if we can build on some of the things we have done the last few weeks.”
