The Las Vegas Raiders poached Steelers linebacker Jon Rhattigan from the Pittsburgh practice squad late Tuesday, the linebacker’s agency, JL Sports, announced in a post on X.

Rhattigan will now be joining the Raiders’ active roster.

The linebacker signed with the Steelers’ practice squad on Sept. 3. He was elevated for one game, Pittsburgh’s Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, playing in six special teams snaps.

Now, the Steelers will have an open spot on their practice squad. Earlier Tuesday, the team released veteran linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley to make room for new signee Raheem Blackshear, a running back and returner. The team also worked out edge rusher K.J. Henry.
