Mangaluru, Oct 8: The 31st batch of the undergraduate physiotherapy course for the academic year 2025–2026 was inaugurated at Father Muller College of Physiotherapy, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, on Wednesday, October 8, at the Father Muller Convention Centre.

The chief guest for the event was Dr UT Ifthikar Ali, chairman of the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council. The programme was presided over by Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI). Dr Michael Santhumayor, administrator, and Dr Cherishma D’Silva (PT), principal, were also present.

The event began with a band procession welcoming the dignitaries, followed by a prayer song, lighting of the lamp, and a welcome address.
