Police say around 2 o’clock Sunday morning, officers responded to a crash at 21st Street and Memorial in Tulsa.

Kimberly Harmon says her nephew, 28-year-old Kortlin Harmon, and his friend were in a pickup truck that was hit. Police say both of them died.

Police haven't released the cause of the crash or the names of the people in the other car. They say the driver wasn't hurt, but the passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Family Speaks Out

The family calls Kortlin their cowboy and says he was a young man with dreams, drive and love for the people around him. Kimberly's angry because she says the crash and their deaths could have easily been prevented.

"No one should lose their life going to get tacos because somebody runs a red light," said Kimberly.
