Unofficial election night results for Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly are showing Garrett Armstrong leading in Seat C and Patrick Roach in Seat I.

In the three-way race for Seat C, North Pole veterinarian Jeanne Olson received 2,919 votes (20.3%), plumber J.T. McComas-Roe earned 4,868 votes (33.8%) and teacher Garrett Armstrong got 6,554 votes (45.5%)

With just three precincts left to report, Garrett Armstrong led the race and said he found the results “very promising.”

“While they are smaller precincts, I want to make sure they are all counted fairly and everything is done by the book,” he said. “I’m honored that some people have trusted me to represent them on the assembly and I can’t wait to go to work for everybody in our fair borough.”
