Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the Campaign Committee, ANTCC and National Vice President of INTUC Federation, called on the Director of Shipping Services (DSS) and held a detailed discussion on several pressing issues affecting islanders’ connectivity and transport convenience.

During the meeting, Mr. Bhasker highlighted the hardships faced by the residents due to the poor condition of NH-4 and urged the Department to introduce two weekly ship sailings to Mayabunder as an alternative means of transportation. The Director of Shipping Services assured to take necessary steps to implement this request.
