Los Angeles police recovered roughly half a million dollars’ worth of stolen Nike goods during a raid last week that led to the arrest of a well-known sneaker reseller, authorities said.

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Commercial Crimes Division, Cargo Theft Unit, served a search warrant Oct. 2 on the 1700 block of Stewart Street in Santa Monica, police said in a statement. The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Union Pacific Railroad Police, Los Angeles Port Police, Los Angeles World Airport Police, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation.
