Srinagar- Infiltration attempts by terrorists from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) have so far been unsuccessful due to the alertness of security forces and the use of modern surveillance gadgets along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir, a senior Border Security Force (BSF) officer said on Wednesday.

Inspector General, BSF, Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav, said intelligence inputs indicate that terrorists are waiting at launch pads on the other side of the LoC. “All the terrorists at launching pads are foreigners. According to intelligence analysis, around 100 to 120 terrorists are generally present at any given time, though the numbers keep changing,” Yadav said.
