More skeletons are tumbling out of Sresan Pharma, the manufacturer of banned Coldrif cough syrup. An exclusive ground investigation inside Sresan Pharma plant in Kanchipuram has revealed several lapses, which may have contributed to the deadly cough syrup tragedy. The facility was in shocking disrepair with no proper ventilation, inadequate waste disposal, and chemical solvents carelessly stored under the blazing sun despite safety warnings. Basic hygiene standards were ignored, with dust and debris scattered throughout the production area. To make matters worse, the factory is located right next to a busy highway, constantly exposed to dust and pollution.
