LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is set to open a new pharmacy in Lansing on Wednesday, October 8.

Located across from the hospital’s Michigan Avenue campus, the new facility aims to improve access to essential medications and healthcare services for residents living near downtown Lansing.

The building, formerly a Rite Aid that closed after the company filed for bankruptcy, has been renovated to include both a full-service pharmacy and an urgent care center.

The grand opening is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
