There goes that Liz Brown again, boasting her right-wing credentials to fend off a Republican primary election challenge from a more extreme member of the gang.

Brown, the state senator for most of northern Fort Wayne and a former collegiate fencer, had a column in The Journal Gazette Sept. 23 that swung her saber at a very small, politically marginalized population — transexual women athletes. This is in keeping with current Republican doctrine, heavily influenced by Christian nationalism and buttressed by its successful use at the end of Donald Trump’s campaign last year.
